What is a Sackbut?
        SACK'BUT
     A sackbut is a wind instrument, but that meant in the original of Dan 3:5, etc., was a stringed instrument of a triangular shape, played with the fingers. It had four strings, and had a very penetrating sound. In process of time the strings were increased to twenty. See Music.
