What is Liquor?
        LIQ'UOR
        , or LIQUORS, the translation of three different Hebrew words. One denotes a "tear" -- i.e., the juice of the olive and grapes, Ex 22:29; the second denotes "maceration " -- i.e., drink prepared by steeping grapes. Num 6:3; the last, "mixture " -- i.e., highly-flavored wine. Cant. Song 7:2. See Wine.
