Messages of the Prophets in the Old Testament

2 Peter 1:21 - For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.

The prophets of ancient Israel were the divine messangers sent by God to communicate to man a message from God. They spoke about the events mentioned in the Old Testament long before they actually happened. Israel was confronted with the choice of blessings or curses. Blessings if they followed the LORD and curses if they forsook him. Moses their great leader warned the people of Israel not to disobey the LORD or else:

Amos 7:14-15 - Then Amos answered Amaziah, "I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore figs; and the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, 'Go, prophesy to my people Israel.'

Jesus confirmed all of the events mentioned in the Old Testament (Luke 11:49-51).

Below is a list of the prophets with their messages.
