Joses in the Bible Encyclopedia - ISBE
jo'-sez, jo'-zez (Ioses):
(1) One of the brethren of Jesus (Mk 6:3; in Mt 13:55 the
Greek is "Joseph," and the Revised Version (British and
American) so renders).
(2) A son of Mary, perhaps identical with (1) (Mt 27:56; Mk
15:40,47).

(3) A name of Barnabas (Acts 4:36 the King James Version,
where again Greek and the Revised Version (British and
American) have "Joseph").
