Evagŏras in Harpers Dictionary of Classical Antiquities
(Εὐαγόρας). King of Salamis, in Cyprus, from about B.C. 410 to 374. He was assisted by the Athenians in his wars against the Persians (Xen. Hell. ii. 1.29).
