e-li'-a-da, ('elyadha`, "God is knowing." Compare HPN, 219,
266, 301; Epidae, or Elidae):
(1) One of the sons of David (2 Sam 5:16; 1 Ch 3:8; called
BEELIADA, 1 Ch 14:7 (which see)).
(2) A descendant of Benjamin and a captain in the army of
Jehoshaphat, commander of 200,000 men (2 Ch 17:17).
(3) Father of Rezon, an "adversary" of Solomon (1 Ki 11:23,
the King James Version "Eliadah").
