Creon (Attic Greek: Κρέων - Kreōn, meaning "ruler") is a
figure in Greek mythology best known as the ruler of Thebes in
the legend of Oedipus. He had three children: Megareus,
Menoeceus, and Haemon with his wife, Eurydice. Creon and his
