Cratippus in Harpers Dictionary of Classical Antiquities
(Κράτιππος). A Peripatetic philosopher of Mitylené, accompanied Pompey in his flight after the battle of Pharsalia, B.C. 48. He afterwards settled at Athens, where the young M.
