Centre for Roman Studies: Pompeii Interim Report
Welcome to the Centre for Roman Studies' Pompeii Interim Report!
Our team has been conducting extensive research and excavation work in Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Through our efforts, we have uncovered fascinating insights into daily life, architecture, and cultural practices of the inhabitants of Pompeii. The artifacts and structures we have discovered have provided valuable clues about this remarkable civilization.
Our interdisciplinary approach, combining archaeology, history, and various scientific analyses, has allowed us to piece together a more comprehensive understanding of Pompeii and its significance in the Roman world.
We are excited to share some of our preliminary findings and observations in this report. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our work at the site!
