Philistines. He was captain of a thousand of his tribe, and
fought at David's side in the pursuit of the Amalekites. 1Ch

2. The captain of over 300,000 men of Judah who were
in Jehoshaphat's army. 2Ch 17:14 (B.C. 908.)
