What is Zenan?
        ZE'NAN
(place of flocks), a place in the plain of Judah, apparently near the western coast, Josh 15:37; perhaps the same as the "Zaanan" of Micah 1:11. Among the suggested sites are Jem'a, a little village south-cast of Ascalon; Zanabra, 2 1/2 miles south-east of Mareshah (Schwartz); and Kerbetes Senat, a little north of Beit Jibrin (Knobel).
