What is a Will?
        WILL
, in the sense of a testamentary writing, does not occur in Scripture, and, with respect to landed property, such a disposition must have been very limited, on account of the right of redemption and general re-entry in the jubilee year. With respect to houses in walled towns such difficulties did not exist, and it is apparent, from 2 Sam 17:23; 2 Kgs 20:1; Isa 38:1. that property of this kind was bequeathed by will.
