What is Sirah?
SI'RAH
, THE WELL OF (retreat), the place from which Abner was recalled by Joab, who put him to death at Hebron. 2 Sam 8:26. It is now called 'Ain Sarah, a spring about 1 mile from Hebron, and a little to one side of the main road.
