What is Praise?
        PRAISE
In the ordinary Scripture use of the term, it denotes an act of worship, and is often used synonymously with thanksgiving. It is called forth by the contemplation of the character and attributes of God, however they are displayed; and it implies a grateful sense and acknowledgment of past mercies. Expressions of praise abound in the Psalms of David, in almost every variety of force and beauty. Ps 33:1; Ps 138:1; Ps 106:2.
