What is Plaiting?
        PLAIT'ING
        , braiding the hair. 1 Pet 3:3. The business of dressing the hair is mentioned by Jewish writers as an art by itself, practised by women. The hair was folded up in curls, tied up in knots, and put into the form of horns and towers, made by their crisping-pins with their cauls and round tires, etc. Isa 3:18-22.
