What is Phaselis?
PHASE'LIS
, a town on the border of Lycia and Pamphylia, where the Jews settled. It was at one time a place of considerable importance, but later became a resort of pirates. It is now called Tckrova. It is mentioned only in the Apocryphal book of Maccabees. 1 Mace. 15:23.
