What is a Pavilion?
        PAVIL'ION
        , a small movable tabernacle or tent, chiefly used for a king, prince, or general. 1 Kgs 20:12-16; Jer 43:10. The Psalmist sublimely describes Jehovah as surrounding himself with dark waters and thick clouds of the skies as with a tent or pavilion. Ps 18:11.
