What is Ijon?
        I'JON
        (ruin), a city of Naphtali, lying in the north of Palestine; taken and plundered by the captains of Benhadad, 1 Kgs 15:20; 2 Chr 16:4, and again by Tiglath-pileser, 2 Kgs 15:29. Robinson identifies it with the ruin Dibbin, on the plain Merj Ayun, about 10 miles north-west of Banias (Cajsarea Philippi); Conder with el-Khidm.
