What is a Friend?
FRIEND
Abraham is called "the friend of God." Isa 41:8; Jas 2:23. Jesus called his disciples his friends. John 15:15. He used a different word in the Greek to Judas, Matt 26:50, and one used more like our conventional "my good friend," implying kindly feeling, though no especial regard.
