Who is Ethbaal?
ETH'BAAL
(with Baal; i. e. favored by him), king of the Zidonians and father of Jezebel. 1 Kgs 16:31. In secular history he is known as Ithobalus, a priest of Astarte, as well as king. He usurped the throne of Tyre after having murdered the reigning king. He reigned 32 years, b.c. 940-908.
