ELEA'LEH
(whither God ascends), a city east of Jordan; given to the Reubenites. Num 32:3, 2 Kgs 18:37; afterward possessed by Moab, Isa 15:4; Matt 16:9; Jer 48:34; now el-A'al ("the high"), 1 mile north-east of Heshbon.
