What is Egypt?
        E'GYPT
        the valley of the Nile, in the north-eastern part of Africa,
         and one of the most remarkable countries in ancient history, famous for
         its pyramids, sphinxes, obelisks, and wonderful ruins of temples and
         tombs. It figures largely in the Bible as the cradle of the people of
         Israel, and the training-school of its great leader and legislator.
