What is the Concision?
CONCIS'ION
, a term used sarcastically to denominate the Judaizers who insisted on circumcision as necessary for Gentile converts. Phil 3:2. They thus perverted the rite, and therefore, instead of calling them by the honorable name of the "circumcision," Paul calls them the "concision," the "mutilation."
