        AD'IDA
        , a fortified town overlooking the low country of Judah and near Jerusalem, noticed in 1 Macc 12:38, and used by Vespasian in his siege of Jerusalem; probably the same as Hadid. Ezr 2:33. Conder locates it at the modern Hadithek .
