1. Son of Beriah of Benjamin, who was "a head of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon who drove away the inhabitants of Gath" (1 Chronicles 8:13,16). A similar border encounter of Ephraim's sons with the marauding Philistines of Gath is recorded in 1 Chronicles 7:21-23, and Beriah is there also mentioned. But this name occurs often, e.g. Asher's son (1 Chronicles 7:30; Genesis 46:17). 2. 1 Chronicles 11:45.
