Shebah
        

SHEBAH or Shibeah, "seven" and "oath", oaths being ratified with sevenfold sacrifices (Genesis 21:28; Genesis 21:31). The well from which Beersheba was named (Genesis 26:31-35), called from the oath between Isaac and the Philistines. (See BEERSHEBA.)
