psalms 77:1 <To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph.> I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

psalms 77:1 [For the choir director; according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph]. My voice [rises] to God, and I will cry aloud; My voice [rises] to God, and He will hear me.

Ps 77:1-20. To Jeduthun--(See on Ps 39:1, title). In a time of great affliction, when ready to despair, the Psalmist derives relief from calling to mind God's former and wonderful works of delivering power and grace.
