"stars"
(Mt 24:29).

TREGELLES refers
"stars" to those Jews whose portion from God is heavenly glory
(Da 12:3),
being believers in Him who is above at God's right hand: not the

(Isa 14:13, 14),
"I will exalt my throne above the stars of God." Compare
Re 12:4;
2 Maccabees 9:10, as to Antiochus.
