CLOUD, PILLAR OF

Exodus 13:21-22

21. And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a CLOUD, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

22. He took not away the pillar of the CLOUD by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

Exodus 14:19-24

19. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the CLOUD went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a CLOUD and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24. And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the CLOUD, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

Exodus 16:10

10. And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the CLOUD.

Exodus 19:9-16

9. And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick CLOUD, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

10. And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

11. And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

12. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

13. There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

14. And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

15. And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

16. And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick CLOUD upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

Exodus 24:16-18

16. And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the CLOUD covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the CLOUD.

17. And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18. And Moses went into the midst of the CLOUD, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Exodus 33:9-10

9. And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the CLOUDy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.

10. And all the people saw the CLOUDy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
