Tappush
        (the apple-city).
        1. A city of Judah, of the Shefelah or lowland. Jos 15:34
        2. A place on the boundary of the "children of Joseph." Jos 16:8; 17:8 Its full name was probably En-tappuah. Jos 17:7 ("Around the city was a district called the land of Tappuah; the city belonged to Ephraim and the land to Manasseh. Jos 17:8 " --Schaff.)
        3. One of the sons of Hebron, of the tribe of Judah. 1Ch 2:43 It is doubtless the same as Beth-tappuah. (B.C. before 1450.)
