Sheba (1)
        (on oath), the son of Bichri, a Benjamite, 2Sa 20:1-22 the last chief of the Absalom insurrection. The occasion seized by Sheba was the emulation between the northern and southern tribes on David's return. 2Sa 20:1,2 Sheba traversed the whole of Israel apparently rousing the population, Joab following in full pursuit to the fortress Abel Beth-maachah, where Sheba was beheaded. 2Sa 20:3-22
