Mattathah
        (gift of Jehovah), probably a contraction of Mattathiah.
        1. Son of Nathan and grandson of David, in the genealogy of Christ. Lu 3:31 (B.C. after 1014.)
        2. An Israelite, son of Hashun, who divorced his Gentile wife after the return from Babylon. Eze 10:33 (B.C. 458.)
