Jiphthah-el
        (which God opens), The valley of, a valley which served as one of the landmarks for the boundary of both Zebulun, Jos 19:14 and Asher. Jos 19:27 Dr. Robinson suggests that Jiphthah-el was identical with Jotapata, and that they survive in the modern Jefat, a village in the mountains of Galilee, halfway between the Bay of Accre and the Lake of Gennesareth.
