What is Zair?
        ZA'IR
(small), a place in Idumaea where Joram overcame the Edomites. 2 Kgs 8:21. The name does not occur elsewhere. It has been regarded as equivalent to Zoar, and again to Seir, but more probably is identical with Zueirah, on the south-western side of the Dead Sea.
