        (village of fortune), a town in the south of Judah, Josh 15:27, which Wilton would identify with Wady Mubughik, where are extensive ruins of great antiquity; Grove with el-Ghurrah, about 9 miles east of Beersheba; Conder with Judeideh, the name of a spring near Hebron.
