What is Hazar-enan?
        HA'ZAR-E'NAN
(fountain, village), a boundary of the Promised Land. Num 34:9-10; Eze 47:17; Eze 48:1. Porter would identify it with Kuryetein, 60 miles east-north-east of Damascus, where are large fountains, fragments of columns, and other ruins, but this is too far north; Canon Cook suggests Ayon ed-Dara, a fountain in the heart of the central chain of Anti-Libanus.
