Jesus Made a Whip of Cords and Drove them all Out
"When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables." - John 2:15
Jesus became indignant and made a scourge of cords, and He drove them all out of the Temple. He also drove the animals for the sacrifices that were being sold by them out of the Temple. Jesus also poured out the moneychangers' money and overturned their tables, and He said to those who sold doves to the poor:
"Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!" - John 2:16
Jesus cleansed the Temple and therefore made a bold statement that the Gentiles are welcome into God's Kingdom.
